more often i find it very difficult to be content with certain lifestyle and activities of our muslim brothers, especially, in africa. is it true that the Quran have declared muslim to be brothers? if yes then why do muslims from the north africa see us muslims from the lower part of africa as different human altogether. i may be a pagan when it comes islamic teachings but i know love ang caring is for muslims and not for any other religion. why then do we leave these islamic teachings to the west. when i say the west i mean the yahud and the nasara because i believe they made up the west. my knowledge about the west may be very scanty but i know even with the grudge that has existed between the yahud and the nasara for the past centuries they still see each other in brotherhood and give each other a helping hand when they are in need. this i conclude is the lost treasure that need to be look for by muslims not in africa alone but the worl as a whole.
it is not by chance that one reknown alim stated in his khutuba that "in the land of muslimes you can only find muslims but not islam. islam can only be found in the west"
salamu alaik,
just wondering, could it be simply due to a phobia for those of us from sub-Saharan Africa, or it's because they are not aware that there are so many Muslims here?
