Just took a "stroll" around Mozilla's add-on library on their website to see if I could find any exciting add-on for the browser.

Came across FireFTP, and I'm trying it out for the first time at the moment, and I must say I'm very impressed about its features. It has the standard directory tree for both your local pc and server. Directory/File shortcut commands are also impressive (infact, better than the current FTP software I use, i.e. CoreFTP Lite). It allows you to edit files, change directory permissions for just one directory or sub-directories and files (which my current FTP software doesnt give me). All these and more are done in a new tab in your browser! No need to start a separate software and keep switching to your browser to preview your website!

So far, the only downside I've picked up is that it does not allow archiving/zipping of server files. Not too worried about that cos my old software couldn't do that anyway.

Will share any additional stuff I discover with this add-on.
